According to a reputable pollster, Princess Anne is just as popular as Kate, Princess of Wales, and both are the UK’s second most popular members of the Royal Family.

Both the Princess of Wales and Kate scored higher than King Charles and Queen Camilla, and only slightly lower than the late Princess Diana.

The highest-scoring living royal was Prince William, who according to the poll is expected to succeed King Charles “sooner rather than later” since he would make a better King than his father.

The poll, conducted by Lord Ashcroft, a pollster and former Conservative Party chairman, included many questions about the monarchy.

Respondents were asked how they felt about members of the Royal Family, the Firm as a whole, the institution, as well as the Prime Minister, and the Leader of the Opposition.

Lord Ashcroft’s poll looked at data from around the Commonwealth, with his team polling 22,701 people in the 15 countries where the King is the head of state.

It also held 44 focus groups with people from various backgrounds in the United Kingdom and eight so-called Commonwealth nations, namely Australia, the Bahamas, Belize, Canada, Jamaica, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea, and the Solomon Islands.

Princess Anne and Kate tied for fourth place with a 62 percent positive rating. They both trailed the late Princess Diana, who had a percentage of 63%.

When asked why they rated Anne so highly, respondents cited the fact that she gets on with the job and is unconcerned about being the show’s star.

“Princess Anne is never in the spotlight, but she’s known as the hardest-working royal,” claimed one respondent from Wales. She didn’t want all the attention, and she never gave her children titles.

“She told them they needed to go out and get jobs, and they did.”

The crown does not provide financial assistance to her children, Zara Tindall and Peter Phillips. Zara is an equestrian with several brand endorsements, while Peter works with the Royal Bank of Scotland.

The Princess Royal has long been known as the hardest-working royal, regularly topping the Court Circular for the most royal engagements completed in a year.

She had 214 engagements in a single year. In comparison, the King, who finished second, fulfilled 143 royal commitments.

It is widely assumed that Anne acquired her hardworking character from the Queen, who received 76 percent of the vote, ranking 12 percent higher than Prince William.

Anne had 30 engagements in November of last year, one of which included a journey to the Falkland Islands.

Another respondent, this one from Scotland, agreed that Anne does not want attention.

“I like her,” they stated. She’s quietly working in the background. She also urged the photographer to “naff off.”

Princess Anne famously warned journalists and photographers to “naff off” when they photographed her when she fell off her horse at an eventing competition, a scene that was featured in the smash television drama The Crown.

While Charles is less popular than other senior royals and his ex-wife, he is more popular than the Royal Family as a whole and the monarchy itself.

However, Queen Camilla received a lower favorable percentage of 39 percent than both Princess Sophie and Prince Edward.
