Cannes Film Festival held last month. The French Riviera celebrated this year’s best in international cinema. Several stars Showed up in the festival’s signature upscale glamour on the red carpet.
Cannes Film Festival started on May 16 and continued to run until May 27. Celebrities returned to the festival in a series of extravagant ensembles.

The 2 weeks of the event was a buzz with extravagant parties, and several bold fashion statements was captured at the 21 world premieres on the Palais des Festivals red carpet.

The Jury Price – Hounds, directed by Kamal Lazraq.
New Voice Prize – Omen, directed by Baloji.
Ensemble Prize – The Buriti Flower, directed by João Salaviza & Renée Nader Messora.
Freedom Prize – Goodbye Julia, directed by Mohamed Kordofani.
Directing Prize – The Mother of All Lies, directed by Asmae El Moudir.
Cannes has a history of delivering spellbinding style moments. Some of the glamorous moment in it’s history is Diana, Princess of Wales’s Catherine Walker gown in 1987
Also, Madonna’s 1991 Jean Paul Gaultier cone bra, and Amal Clooney’s sunny Atelier Versace gown in 2016.
More recently, model Bella Hadid made waves with her 2021 Schiaparelli Couture dress and gold, lung-like breastplate.
As we started above, outfits of the Film Festival always reeked of opulence reserved exclusively for the Cannes red carpet. This year’s festival showcased the most dramatic and luxurious outfits.
