A fully booked Saturday night at downtown hotspot Brooklyn Chop House did not deter Cardi B and Offset from hosting a private dinner for their entourage.
The couple arrived at the crowded restaurant expecting a “private dinner experience,” but they didn’t have a reservation.
The restaurant had to persuade an existing party — with free booze — to finish their dinner party sooner so that the hotspot could accommodate the music couple and their entourage of about 10 guests.
“[The other patrons], were on dessert, so [the restaurant] brought them over bottles of Cristal and free desserts to get them to vacate the area for Cardi,” a spy who ran to Page Six revealed.
However, persuading the other diners to finish their meals sooner was not difficult. “Once they got the bottles of Cristal,” the source said, “they gladly obliged.”
Cardi B and Offset waited about 15 minutes for the group to disperse to the lobby area of the bar, where they popped the expensive bubbly and finished their meal before leaving the premises.
Cardi B and Offset were thankful for the relocation. A chef was brought in to cook for the group, and we’re told the power couple spent over $1,000 on dinner and another grand on service.
Another source who saw it all happen confirmed by saying, “There was a line out the door when they arrived and left. [Cardi] was very gracious, and really nice. She was very friendly to everyone. Everyone loved it.”
Cardi B took photos with other diners, Chophouse employees, and bystanders as she and Offset exited the restaurant with their entourage.
