Kelis and Bill Murray have apparently chosen to split up after only two months of dating.
According to the US Sun, the “Milkshake” singer, 44, was the one to call it quits with the “Ghostbusters” star, 72.

“Kelis and Bill were — and still are — very fond of each other, but things just ran their course,” a source told the publication.
“They both have busy schedules and after a whirlwind romance decided to go their separate ways. They hope to remain friends but also plan to get on with their lives.”
Murray and Kelis’s representatives did not immediately respond to TSZ Newz’s requests for comment.
Both Kelis and the “Saturday Night Live” alum, who has six boys with his ex-wives, had been silent about their relationship — until now.
The singer acknowledged they were not an item just one day before the Sun published the news of their breakup.
When questioned on Instagram if she was “really dating Bill Murray,” Kelis replied, “Ugh, no!”
When queried about the dating rumors in the months before, the singer sang a different tune.
“Would you care to address these Bill Murray allegations, ma’am?” Cuz, damn! “What he doing with all that?!?” a fan wrote under one of Kelis’ swimsuit photos in June.
“LOL no babe, I wouldn’t bother at all,” the mother of three said, neither confirming nor denigrating the allegation.
In another response, the musician-turned-farmer stated that she and Murray are “both blessed, rich, and happy.”
Early in June, when Murray was seen accompanying the “Bossy” singer to a London concert, the twosome was first publicly linked.
They were staying together in a hotel at the time, according to people close to the couple, and had been “getting close for a while” after initially “hitting it off” in the US.
They appeared to have connected over their loss as well. While Murray just lost his older brother Ed and his estranged wife Jennifer Butler, Kelis lost her second husband Mike Mora in March 2022.

“They’ve also both shared relatively recent bereavements and have that common bond between them,” an insider explained at the time.
“Whatever it is that has brought them together, and however unlikely it seems, they are both single and having fun despite the fairly big age gap.”
