Jennifer Garner jokingly used her daughter Violet as a human shield to hide from paparazzi taking photos of her.
Garner, who shares a 17-year-old daughter with ex-Ben Affleck, was photographed on Monday in Los Angeles wearing a black long-sleeve blouse and black short leggings.
Garner completed her laid-back look with a messy top bun, sunglasses, and sneakers.

Garner, 51, gripped the outside of her daughter’s arms at one point, putting the teen’s body in front of her own.
Violet didn’t appear to mind providing cover for her famous mother, as she smiled while her Garner hid.
Violet opted for a more summery appearance, wearing a white and red polka-dotted maxi dress with frills around the scooped neckline. She completed the ensemble with a pair of casual sneakers and clear-framed glasses.
Affleck and the actress have two other children: Seraphina, 14, and Samuel, 11.
The “Daredevil” actress and the “Batman” actor were married for ten years until splitting up in 2015.
Garner has been dating CaliBurger CEO John Miller on and off since 2018, and they appeared all lovey-dovey when they embraced goodbye earlier this month in Los Angeles.
Meanwhile, Affleck has remarried, wedding Jennifer Lopez in July 2022 after the two rekindled their relationship nearly two decades after they dated.
While Garner and Affleck, both 50, are divorced, their families have mingled seamlessly since the “Good Will Hunting” actor’s marriage.
During a Memorial Day Disneyland trip, Garner was seen with Seraphina and Lopez’s child Emme, whom Lopez has with ex-husband Marc Anthony.

Despite the particular obstacles that come with having children in the spotlight, Garner called co-parenting with Ben “a gift” in an interview released on June 11.
Lopez has also lauded Garner and Affleck’s co-parenting skills, claiming on “The View” on May 4 that he has taught her new ways to interact with their children.
“He’s such a brilliant guy anyway, and you can tell that when he had his kids he must have read every book and everything that you could possibly learn about children, and he applies it.”
