Over the weekend, Demi Lovato debuted a shaved new ‘do on Instagram, in a video filmed over FaceTime by Angelo Kritikos. “ #freshstart,” the singer, 29, captioned her post.
The Disney Channel alum shared more photos of their edgy makeover on Instagram Stories, smiling and pursing their lips in the fashionable selfies.
“OMG, NEW ERA???” one fan asked in the comments section, with another adding, “If anyone can pull off shaved hair it’s you Demi stunning queen.”

“When you get exactly what you wished for on Christmas… your sister,” Dallas, 33, captioned the video, adding a red heart emoji.
“I tricked you, I’m sorry,” Demi said as they hugged a teary-eyed Madison, 19.
It’s unclear where Demi was coming from or where they intended to spend the holidays this year. A representative did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment.
Demi’s “#freshstart” comes just weeks after they announced they were no longer “California sober,” instead opting to completely abstain from marijuana and alcohol in an effort to live a “sober sober” life.
“I no longer support my ‘California sober’ ways,” the “Skyscraper” singer, who came out as non-binary in May, shared via Instagram Stories at the time. “Sober sober is the only way to be.”

“I am cautious to say that, just like, I feel the complete abstinent method isn’t a one-size-fits-all solution for everybody. I don’t think that this journey of moderation is a one-size-fits-all solution for everybody, too,” they added.
