Zendaya channeled the main Marvel character with her signature show-stopping style at the premiere of “Spider-Man: No Way Home” in Los Angeles on Monday.
She wore a plunging Valentino dress with black spiderweb stitching and accessorized with black Christian Louboutin heels and Bulgari jewelry.
But, perhaps, the most on-theme aspect of her ensemble? A gleaming black mask with netting over the eyes, similar to Spider-famous Man’s superhero mask.
A Twitter user compared the web-adorned look to a similarly spiderweb-adorned spring 1997 John Galliano dress, which was even featured in a superhero-themed Met exhibition in 2008.
It’s not the first time Zendaya has dusted off her cobweb couture for a “Spider-Man” event, as she wore a sparkly spiderweb-adorned Alexander McQueen jacket and matching Jacob & Co. earrings, which a rep for the jeweler revealed are worth a whopping $31,800.
Last month, she walked the red carpet at the Balloon D’Or in Paris wearing a Roberto Cavalli gown with a metal spine, drawing comparisons to “Spider-Man” franchise villain Dr. Octopus.
The CFDA Fashion Icon Award winner is known for channeling characters from the projects she promotes, such as referencing Lola Bunny with her colorful suit at the “Space Jam: A New Legacy” premiere this summer.
Her boyfriend and “Spider-Man” co-star Tom Holland has recently joined her on the red carpet. At the film’s London premiere, the actor gushed about his girlfriend, 25, calling her a “shoulder to cry on” in the midst of celebrity life.
Holland, 25, wore a black Prada suit and Christian Louboutin shoes to the Los Angeles premiere, which was also styled by Zendaya’s go-to stylist, Law Roach.
