Olivia Rodrigo stepped out for a night out in celebration of her recently released album “Guts.” The songstress went out partying in New York all night long with a few friends for the streaming of her latest project.

Like several celebrities, she took to Instagram to share images of herself having fun captioning it,” Thank you guys for all the love!!!!!” In the photos, the star opted for a sexy outfit as she hits her celebratory dinner.

Rodrigo rocked a glittering gold vintage miniskirt paired with a long-sleeve white top from Todd Oldham’s spring 1995 collection that put her whole mid-riff on display. One image showed her posing with her producer Dan Nigro at the Italian hot spot Via Carota.

Before the nights out, the star shared brief details about one of her singles in the Guts album. She spoke to the “Today” show’s Willie Geist about why she has no plans to reveal who inspired her album’s lead single, “Vampire.” “I think explanation is never good for art,” she said.

Then continued, “Why would I pigeonhole a song into being about this one thing in my life, when everyone has their own interpretation?” Olivia Rodrigo then adds, “It just makes me feel less alone in my feelings when I write this song about some specific instance where I felt this really strong way.”

“And then I look out into the crowd and I see some girl who felt the exact same way. It just makes me realize that we’re all so much more alike than we are different.” When the song was released, fans alluded that the song was about her idol, Taylor Swift.

One of her songs Deja Vu was inspired by the Eras tour performer who also got songwriting credit as the number was inspired by her hit song, “Cruel Summer,”.  Rodrigo had to split 50 percent of the royalties with Swift and her co-writers Jack Antonoff and St. Vincent.

The star told Rolling Stone,” It’s one of my favourite songs ever. I love like the yelly vocals in it, like the harmonized yells that she does, I think they’re like super electric and moving, so I wanted to do something like that.”

On the inspiration behind “Vampires” in her Guts album she never explicitly answered whether the song was inspired by Taylor Swift following the “Deja Vu” debacle. Instead, Rodrigo asked, “How do I answer this?” when asked in an interview with the Guardian last week on the Swift storyline.

Quickly “I mean, I never want to say who any of my songs are about. I’ve never done that before in my career and probably won’t.”
