Netflix Bridgerton Reveals First Looks In “Scandalous” Season 3

Netflix Bridgerton has released the first official photos of its season three, centered on a “grown up” Penelope and Colin.

Bridgerton focuses on the love story between Colin Bridgerton and Penelope Featherington, #Polin. Polin’s first look is sweet like honey and sultry as the midsummer night dream.

The official first photos for the Netflix series dropped on June 17. They revealed Penelope  Featherington and Colin Bridgerton as lead characters in the love story of the season.

Bridgerton season 3 follows the story of a Wallflower Penelope who has a side hustle as town gossip Lady Whistledown. She looked glorious in multiple pale blue dresses that complemented her red hair, styled in soft waves.

“Do contain your excitement,” the show tweeted, adding on Instagram, “The author is about to become the main character.”

According to Nicola Coughlan who played Penelope, fans are in for a wild ride. Earlier seasons showed Penelope dressed in awful colors that never seemed to complement her looks.

She also nursed an age-long crush on Colin. In her mind, she and Colin were a thing and it was happening, and then she got a rude awakening at the end.

In Bridgerton season 3, Penelope has returned as a woman with a massive shift in the way Collin will see her.

Speaking on the season, Nicola described her season—which doesn’t yet have a release date—as “magical,” “romantic” and “quite scandalous” while speaking at Tudum’s Brazil event, per Shondaland.

Penelope (Nicola Coughlan) and Colin (Luke Newton) come into the limelight as the lead stars of Bridgerton season three.

Penelope is “grown up” and all eyes are on her journey from Lady Whistledown to leading lady. 

The actress has been known for a while to sit for a while and focus. She is focused right here but only because she is daydreaming or plotting something
