Kim Kardashian is in a pleather weather season. Her brand, Skims is launching a new swimwear line, and the star stripped down to her Skims for a sexy shoot released on Monday.
The shoot was tagged the brand’s “most provocative” swim campaign yet in a press release. And was shot by Kim’s frequent collaborator Steven Klein.
Kim Kardashian and her designers created a swimwear line from Faux Leather and Rubberized Scuba. She also posed in a steamy series in the collection for an ad campaign.
The new collection is slated to hit the Skim’s site on Tuesday. In the photos, the Kim Kardashian star paired her Patent Faux Leather Sim Micro Triangle Top and Micro Tanga Bottom ($46) with a pair of long matching gloves plus thigh-high heels, to boot.
In other images, she reclined atop her fellow Skims models in the Rubberized Scuba Swim Scoop Neck ($59) — a spandex style she later zipped off for a topless shot.
As stated above, Klein has regularly collaborated with Kim and her family. And that includes her famed Jackie Kennedy-inspired 2017 Interview magazine shoot with her daughter North West.
“As a photographer, I am inspired in collaborating with icons,” the photographer said in a press release, later adding, “Icons are symbols, the alphabet of desire. Kim speaks this language,” Klein said
Kim Kardashian’s SKIM is also no stranger to partnering with icons. The brand’s previous campaigns have featured supermodels like Brooke Shillelds and musicians including SZA and ICE SPICE.
The new pleather collection is not SKIM’s only swim release this year. The brand also released classic silhouettes and sporty swimmers.
Kim Kardashian has also been sported in most of the designs. Now, she’s putting the spotlight on some (literally) shiny new pieces.
