Kim Kardashian looks sexy in an expensive pink Chanel bikini for her vacation in Turks and Caicos instead of a two-piece set from her beloved Skims brand. Perhaps she was just switching things up.
The star who always wears her Skims bikinis on various trips to the beach or for a pool day abandoned her brand. Instead, she showed off some skin in a Chanel logo-covered bikini, which recently sold for $6,900 on the resale market.

The Chanel bikini set featured a string top and fuller-coverage bottom. Her hair was swept up in her signature ponytail except that it was braided. Kim further added two gold pendant necklaces to the beach look.
The Skims founder usually wears bikinis from her brand. For example in June, she sported a pink barbicore bikini from her brand. She also recently sported a gold bikini shared on Instagram with the caption “All that glitters is gold”.
The caption generated some controversy because she posted it following the death of Smash Mouth rocker Steve Harwell who died on Monday. The images show Kim Kardashian striking a pose in a metallic gold string bikini.
While some fans praised the star, for her bikini, others lashed out for her choice of caption, which references a lyric to the band’s famous song, “All Star.” One such critic wrote “Kim there’s people that are dying- literally. Another added, “Someone dies and you use their lyrics to post a thirst trap.”

Music group Smash Mouth whom Kim had referenced in their lyric did not seem offended as they retweeted the pic and completed her lyrics with, “only shooting stars.” Her Turks and Caicos vacation follows another trip to Japan with her first child North West, last month.
On the Japanese trip, the skims founder had a fun time with her daughter and friend visiting several places and enjoying the performance of a geisha. The daughter and mother duo also attended Beyonce’s birthday concert.
