Britney Spears has a new book and announced on Tuesday that the tell-all book “The Woman in Me” will hit bookshelves on Oct. 24.
It’s not uncommon for celebrities to write non-fiction about their lives to capture the richness of their experiences and career.
Now, spears have written about her life and took to Instagram to give insights on the memoir. She said she had to undergo “a lot of therapy” that made her ready to take on a project this big.
“Ok guys so my book is coming out very, very soon,” she told her 42 million Instagram followers.
“I worked my ass off for this book, I had a lot of therapy to get this book done, so you guys better like it. And if you don’t like it, that’s fine too.”
Britney Spears posted a second video that featured her saying a near-identical sentence, but her husband Sam Asghari was heard telling her she was doing “too much” in the clip.
The clip was followed by Spears singing “Kokomo” by The Beach Boys, alluding to an upcoming trip to Bermuda.
Yesterday, her publishing house teased that her memoir “illuminates the enduring power of music and love — and the importance of a woman telling her own story” on her terms.
The book “is a brave and astonishingly moving story about freedom, fame, motherhood, survival, faith and hope,” a press release stated.
Britney Spears hasn’t always had a happy life. Recall, that she was finally freed from her “abusive” conservatorship in November 2021, which was put in place by her father, Jamie Spears, in February 2008.
Now, Britney Spears has a book deal with Simon & Schuster rumoured to be worth$15 million. In April, It was also hinted that she has finished writing the memoir and that it would “shake the world.”
Her sister Jamie Lynn Spears recently released her book titled “Things I Should Have Said.” Perhaps that’s why the singer decided to write a memoir.
The singer alluded that Jamie Lynn’s book was filled with lies and even called her a scum.
