Billie Eilish is quite known for her colored hair which she changes according to mood and occasion. For instance, she dyed her blond for the Barbie Soundtrack “What Was I Made For?” video.
This time she debuted a new root hair on Instagram on Thursday. In the post, she sported bright red roots in the new pic and captioned “Remember me?”
The post showed Eilish with her black hair sectioned in two looped pigtails. She tipped her face down to give fans a look at her new style which extends from the roots in the back of her head and blends into her bangs.
The singer sported a black Chicago Bulls jersey trimmed with red and white piping that she wore while performing at Lollapalooza on Thursday.
For her accessories, Billie Eilish added several silver chains to her fit in addition to a pair of black sunglasses with tinted red lenses. The New style garnered fan’s attention with several of them loving the new look.
One wrote, “ROOT ERA IS BACK ROOT ERA IS BACKKKK.” A TikTok personality said “Just s—t my pants!” Another excited fan added, “OMFG. just fell to my knees. NEW ERA??!!!!
As stated above, Eilish is popular for sporting colored hair since her road to fame. Over the years, she has dyed her hair silver and lavender and even blue as her signature style.

The singer told Buzzfeed that blue was her “least favorite color.” in 2019, she sported black hair with neon green root hair similar to the current red dye job, prompting fans’ excitement over going back to her “root era.”
Likewise in 2020, Billie Eilish sported rocked the green style until 2021 when she nearly broke Instagram with her blond style, bringing in a record-setting 1 million likes in six minutes when she posted a pic of her new hair.
