Beyonce looked stunning in an ’80s-inspired number for the Shawn Carter Foundation 20th Annual Celebration owned by her husband Jay Z.
The foundation was founded in 2003 to provide scholarships and educational support for more youth and families from disenfranchised communities.
For the star-studded evening, both Beyonce and Blue Ivy looked lovely in rare evening ensembles. The singer channeled both Old Hollywood and ’80s glamour with her custom Valdrin Sahiti gown.
The piece features a curve-hugging black silhouette, a hip-high slit, and a sculptural bodice made of oversized swirls of ruffled silver fabric.
Also, it formed a plunging neckline at the middle of the torso. Beyonce swept her hair up in a whimsical top knot with curly face-framing tendrils.
Then completed the look with black opera gloves, Christian Louboutin strappy stiletto sandals, an array of diamond jewelry including earrings and a necklace, and bedazzled triangular sunglasses.
The black and gold number oozes of class, royalty, and regal elegance while commanding attention with every step.
Designer Valdrin Sahiti said in a press release, “Inspired by the glamorous essence of Queen Beyonce herself, this captivating creation pays homage to her exquisite sense of style and unparalleled presence.”
As usual, the star shared several photos via Instagram without a caption. She made another post of the looks, showing various snaps of her getting out of a car, at the event itself, and striking a pose.”
Blue Ivy who Beyonce shares with her husband, Jay Z was also spotted in post of the look. She looked beautiful in an off-the-shoulder green dress for the charity gala.
Instead of high heels, she opted for a platform, low-heeled pair of Converse sneakers and accessorized with a clutch and green pair of drop earrings.
