Amber Heard has since then been rejected by society after losing the highly publicized defamation case against Johnny Depp.

The battle between the ex-partners started after Heard wrote an op-ed for The Washington Post in which she referred to herself as a domestic abuse survivor.

Johnny Depp won the defamation battle. Amber was asked by the court to pay him 15 million in damages. However, they settled for $1 million.

Recently, Amber Heard paid Depp the $1 million she owed him which he will split in five ways among his favorite charities.

Since then, the actress who starred in Aquaman is “living her best life” in Spain with her daughter Oonagh Paige away from the spotlight and controversies surrounding the suit.

She is still recovering from the trauma. An insider said she is making moves to return to Hollywood. Whether that is true or not, Amber Heard must have felt like “a pariah”  all this while.

She was canceled after the jury ruled in her ex-husband’s favor following a six-week-long trial.

The trial raised a lot of dust on social media and the controversy around it was so intense. The actress felt like people were always talking about her and just needed to get away.

It has been reported that Amber Heard has never been so happier since moving, adding, “She’s still recovering from the trauma of the trial, but it’s been so healthy to get away from all the noise.”

Depp’s former lawyer Camille Vasquez has confirmed that Amber Heard has cleared the settlement fee in an interview with People Magazine.

“Ms. Heard did pay Mr. Depp, not the other way around. I want to make that very, very clear,” Vasquez said.
