Kate, Princess of Wales, and Prince William are expected to spend the summer holidays with their children at their country home Anmer Hall in Norfolk.
The mansion was a wedding present from the late Queen Elizabeth and is located on the Sandringham estate, where the Royal Family typically spends Christmas.
After a £1.5 million refurbishment, which was finished in 2015, William and Kate resumed using the residence.
Her Majesty, on the other hand, was thought to be dissatisfied with all of the alterations.
Kate was the mastermind behind the additional improvements to the mansion, including a massive open-plan kitchen, which the Queen disliked and expressed her displeasure with.

“I remember when they had just finished renovating Anmer Hall, and they invited the Queen over for lunch,” royal author and expert Sally Bedell Smith said.
“They have one of those big kitchens with eating areas, and she said, ‘I can’t understand why everybody spends their time in the kitchen’.”
Kate is a talented cook who frequently involves her three children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis, in meal preparation.
According to Vanity Fair, Charlotte is eager to copy her mother in the kitchen. “When Kate or the housekeeper are preparing meals in the kitchen, Charlotte will set up shop next to them, ‘her own toy set by her side to imitate.'”
During a royal visit to St. Luke’s Community Centre in London for the Commonwealth Big Lunch event, the Princess assisted in the preparation of food and disclosed that her children enjoy eating homemade pizza for dinner.
“I’ve done that with George and Charlotte – making pizza dough,” Kate stated to a member from Bolivia. “They love it because they can get their hands messy.”
George, Charlotte, and Louis are on summer break after finishing their first year at Lambrook School, close to Adelaide Cottage in Berkshire, where the family relocated last year.
Kate allegedly told culinary icon Mary Berry that she inspired one of Louis’ first words, so the young royals could be spending their free time baking.
“I have to tell you, one of Louis’ first words was his version of Mary because right at his height are all our cooking books,” the Princess said in the 2019 BBC One program A Berry Royal Christmas.

“And, you know, children are really fascinated by faces and your faces are all over your cooking books.
“And so he would say ‘that’s Mary Berry’, and so one of his first words was Mary.”
