Queen Camilla steps out in an amazing gem-encrusted Dior coat and dress for the first day of the horse racing event.
She accessorized her bespoke white ensemble with a white hat by royal favorite Philip Treacy and the magnificent Courtauld Thomson Scallop-Shell Brooch.
Interestingly, the Queen Consort chose a Dior outfit just days after Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, reportedly opted to distance herself from the label.

Recent reports speculated that Meghan was set to sign a multimillion-dollar contract with the French design house and become the brand’s ambassador, or “Duchess of Dior.”
Dior, based in Paris, denied any agreement or recent contact with the Duchess of Sussex.

A Dior spokeswoman in Paris told Women’s Wear Daily that “the reports are unfounded” and that “there have been no contract negotiations or recent contact with Markle.”
Meghan has worn various designs from the French label, including the black gown she wore to the Royal Air Force centennial celebrations in 2018.
The Duchess of Sussex most recently wore a dramatic white gown to Queen Elizabeth’s Platinum Jubilee service Thanksgiving at St Paul’s Cathedral.
Queen Camilla has also worn Dior on important occasions, such as a trip to France and Normandy in 2013. During a solo trip to Paris a few years back, the monarch also visited the brand’s store.
The Queen looked stunning in her Dior costume at Ascot this week, and royal fans praised her on social media.
@eliza_greensmith said on Instagram that “Dior is fabulous at any age” and that the Queen looked “stunning.”

“Absolutely beautiful,” said social media user @la_nadi_kovic. “Love the details!”
@luxmeagainpreloved, a royal fan, wrote, “Very striking in head to toe-off white!” Would have never taken this look for a Dior.
Reminds me of her style playbook of years gone by with A-line or inverted pleated or box pleated lower skirt and fabulous large hat.”
Indeed the Queen did look amazing in Dior.
