Kate, Princess of Wales, 41, met with Sarah Renton, the coach of the Maidenhead under-14s rugby team, last week and was given a heartfelt gift.
The Princess of Wales is the patron of the English Rugby Football Union and the Rugby Football League, and she is a passionate rugby fan.

Kate paid a visit to Maidenhead Rugby Club for an event related to her Shaping Us program, which strives to promote awareness of the importance of early development in shaping the adults we become.
Sarah Renton’s daughter, Issy Phipps, committed suicide in April 2023. When Sarah met Kate last week, she gave her a beautiful pair of gold star earrings crafted in Issy’s memory.
Sophie McGown, Issy’s cousin, owns the jewelry company EarSass, which created the earrings.

When these earrings are purchased, £5 is contributed to Issy’s favorite charity, Brave Mind.
This is a non-profit organization dedicated to assisting rugby clubs and schools in improving their approach to addressing mental health in their communities.
Kate was pictured hugging Sarah after accepting the earrings. According to the Telegraph, the conversation “visibly moved” the Princess.
“The Princess said she would wear the earrings,” Sarah added. She is really enthusiastic about what she does. It was so great that she came down here today.”

Kate wore the official England rugby gym training T-shirt in blue during her visit last week, which costs £45.
She wore it with a pair of Sweaty Betty air taper 27-inch navy trousers, which cost £85.
She also wore Lululemon Chargefeel low exercise sneakers, which appeared to be incredibly comfy for playing rugby.
She also chose to wear her £18 Orela gold chain “Huggie” hoop earrings for the day.
