Princess Kate Makes ‘Late-Night Phone Calls’ To Prince Harry In A ‘Kind Gesture’ To Heal Fences

According to a source, Kate, Princess of Wales, has made late-night phone calls to her brother-in-law Prince Harry as a “kind gesture” to try to mend the shattered connection between him and his family.

Harry has become increasingly isolated in recent years, as his relationship with King Charles III and Prince William has frayed.

The Duke has infuriated Palace officials by sharing graphic details of intimate talks and family moments in his explosive book, Spare, and a series of TV interviews.

And since he and his wife, Meghan Markle, and his two young children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, left the UK to relocate to the United States, other friendships have suffered.

However, a source claims that Kate has been one of the driving forces within Buckingham Palace in attempting to reconcile with the estranged royal.

“Kate has been in touch with Harry to tell him to keep his chin up and not worry too much about these temporary setbacks,” a source said.

“Harry’s relationship with Kate has remained intact and it means an awful lot to Harry that she continues to show support and especially during desperate times like this when the chips are down.

“She feels very sorry for him right now. Seeing him go through all these setbacks is very difficult to witness and it tugs at her heartstrings – especially as his court trial is taking place so close to their home.”

Despite the pair’s “late-night calls,” William “made it very clear that he is not yet ready to sit down with Harry,” according to the source.

Much of the animosity arose as a result of Harry’s charges against the Royal Family, particularly against William.

According to one account, William got into a physical argument with his brother, while Kate allegedly made Harry’s wife cry only days before their 2018 wedding.

The Sussexes have had a difficult few months, with news that their lucrative Spotify partnership had been canceled and an Emmy snub for their documentary Harry & Meghan.

This week, it was revealed that the title “His Royal Highness” had been removed from Harry’s page on the Royal Family’s website, indicating that the Duke of Sussex’s stock within the Palace was still low.

Until recently, Harry was still referred to by his HRH title in the website’s bio.

Even his work to boost HIV/AIDS awareness in 2016 has been pared short, with the site now just stating: “In 2016, The Duke underwent a public HIV test at Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospital to raise awareness…”

Harry recently visited the United Kingdom in May, when he joined millions of people in celebrating King Charles’ Coronation.
