Prince Harry was spotted waving to fans in the crowd at the ISPS (International Sports Promotion Society) Sports Values Summit-Special Edition in Tokyo.

In the first of his overseas activities this week, the Duke beamed and joyfully interacted with the crowd as he took his place for the summit focusing on sport, community, and philanthropy.

His wife Meghan Markle was not with him as she appears to have chosen to stay at home in Montecito with their two children, but Harry was accompanied by his polo mate Nacho Figueras as he landed down at Tokyo’s Haneda Airport yesterday.

The Sentebale Polo Cup on Saturday will raise funds to assist young people in southern Africa who are struggling with poverty, inequality, and HIV/AIDS.

Since 2010, the sports event has collected over £11 million for charity, with Harry and Mr. Figueras both competing last year in Colorado, USA.

The Prince said: “We are delighted to return to the renowned Singapore Polo Club in August, and are once again enormously grateful for the polo community and our sponsors, in particular ISPS Handa, for their ongoing commitment to Lesotho and Botswana’s youth.”

The royal will captain the Royal Salute Sentebale team, while Mr. Figueras, the charity’s ambassador, will captain the opposing squad, the Singapore Polo Club Team.
