The crowd at the Invictus Games sang Happy Birthday to Prince Harry today.
The announcer, flanked by a beaming Meghan Markle, brought attention to the fact that Harry is 39 today and encouraged the audience to commemorate the occasion.

“Is there anybody here celebrating their own special occasion today?” the announcer questioned the crowd at the Merkur Spiel-Arena.
“Anyone’s birthday? Oh, I think it is someone’s birthday. A certain Prince Harry, the Duke of Sussex, is 39 today. Happy birthday! Let’s sing along.”
The audience then began to sing a rendition of the song as Harry clapped and grinned next to Meghan, who also joined in on the applause. After the song, Harry gave a thumbs up and mouthed “thank you” to the audience.
Meghan, who was dressed in a Zara jumpsuit, Celine Blazer, and Saint Laurent Sandals, greeted her husband with hugs and cheered along with the audience, appearing to relish the crowd’s enthusiasm for the birthday boy.
Last night, Harry and Meghan, surrounded by their top crew, dined at a popular restaurant to celebrate his birthday.
As he celebrated his birthday and the success of the 2023 Invictus Games in Dusseldorf, Harry drank “six glasses” of Alt Schumacher beer. Meghan, on the other hand, drank only one pint.
The group dined on regional specialties like Wiener Schnitzel, sausage, and pork knuckle.
After the meal, the staff presented Harry with a special white chocolate birthday cake, which he carried back to their £2,000-a-night hotel and shared with his crew.
Harry has yet to receive public birthday greetings from the Royal Family, including his father, King Charles, and brother, Prince William, and he is unlikely to do so.
This is because, since Charles succeeded to the throne, only senior working members of the Firm have received public birthday greetings.
Harry received public birthday wishes in 2020 and 2021, but not last year, most likely because his birthday came during Queen Elizabeth II’s mourning period.
