Meghan Markle’s marriage to Prince Harry displays “an enormous amount of planning and ambition.” says one royal expert.
According to royal commentator Jonathan Sacerdoti, the Duchess of Sussex’s dreams were sown at a young age, and her guiding vision will assist direct the Sussex brand as it enters a new era.
It is unclear what this new phase would involve, but hints point to a rebranding for Harry and Meghan.
According to a source, the couple will “stop” filming tell-all Netflix movies, publishing memoirs, and participating in Royal Family interviews since there is “nothing left to say.”
And the couple’s multi-million-pound partnership with Spotify has been canceled less than a year after Meghan’s ‘Archetypes’ program debuted on the platform.
Despite all of this turmoil, Mr. Sacerdoti believes Meghan’s entrepreneurial spirit will help guide the Sussex ship forward.
Meghan’s marriage to Harry, he believes, is a great illustration of her ability to take and run with an opportunity.
“She grew up with high ambitions and started to reach them as an actress – putting in the work, obviously not a terribly successful actress in terms of being well known internationally,” he told Sky News.
“She then married Prince Harry and then she has become probably one of the most known or recognizable names in the world just by marrying somebody.
“I think that shows an enormous amount of planning and ambition.
“I don’t mean to be totally unromantic – maybe she did fall in love with Harry, maybe their relationship is also one of partnership and love in that respect.”
“But you don’t marry into the Royal Family, I think, without knowing what it’s going to do to your reputation and your exposure internationally. The royal commentator continued.
“And then I think they’ve used that to their advantage, many would say is there is their right.”
Whatever the couple decides to do next, polling suggests they have a mountain to climb.
