Meghan Markle Faces Major ‘Struggle’ If She Writes Memoir Because She Risks Tarnishing Her Reputation Further

According to one royal expert, Meghan Markle will have one major “struggle” if she follows in Prince Harry’s footsteps and writes her own memoir.

Spare, Prince Harry’s autobiography, was published in January and received a mixed response from critics around the world.

The book was used by the Duke of Sussex to throw more shade at the Royal Family, and there are fears that Meghan will do the same.

According to royal analyst Christine Ross, if the Duchess decides to write a book, she may face one problem: the potential of further tarnishing her reputation.

Ms. Ross said: “I think she will struggle to balance what is best for her and her image, and what the publishers want to sell.”

Considering Meghan’s previous endeavors, including the couple’s highly anticipated Netflix docuseries, the Duchess could go into greater depth about her brief stint in the Royal Family.

Meghan has made it clear that she felt uncomfortable being a working royal after marrying Prince Harry in May 2018.

As a result, the pair decided to resign from royal duties less than two years later.

Despite concerns about additional attacks, Ms. Ross has advised Meghan to use the memoir to focus on “just Meghan.”

She said: “If she stuck to ‘just Meghan,’ rather than cashing in further on her Duchess of Sussex title, she might win some favor back from the public as well.”

Despite the risks, Ms. Ross believes Meghan’s possible memoir will be a “huge commercial success,” with a flood of people “dying of curiosity” who want to read it.

Meghan may create “huge sales” if she chooses to write her own book, according to royal analyst Richard Fitzwilliams.

Meghan and Harry’s popularity has plummeted in recent years, commencing with their sit-down interview with Oprah Winfrey in March 2021.

In July 2021, Harry announced plans for his own memoir, which was released 18 months later.
