According to royal expert Richard Fitzwilliams, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry always appear to have the “capacity to surprise,” especially when it comes to what they will do next.
Mr. Fitzwilliams has opened up about what the couple may be up to, saying that we could expect “something” from Harry and Meghan.
A new business is undoubtedly on the horizon, as the couple has recently suffered a series of disappointments, most notably the termination of their Spotify partnership.
Meghan and Harry were also dealt a setback when their Netflix docuseries, which debuted last year, was not included on the Emmys shortlist.
The couple’s Netflix deal is also claimed to be in “precarious” shape, with nothing in the works for the time being.
In response, Mr. Fitzwilliams said, “It’s unclear at the moment, what the Sussexes plan to do.”
“Don’t forget they have always had the capacity to surprise.”
“Well, having said that, it simply isn’t clear,” he added. “I’m surprised there hasn’t been an initiative so far.”
He went on to say that Meghan had a “new agent and a new agency” after signing with William Morris Endeavor, a US-based firm, earlier this year.
Mr. Fitzwilliams stated that Meghan’s new sign is “likely to lead to something.”
Only a few months after deciding to step down as senior working royals, the couple inked a multi-million-pound partnership with Spotify in 2020.
Until last summer, the pair had done nothing for the popular music streaming service.
Meghan’s podcast series, Archetypes, was the only project launched through Spotify when the deal came to an end.
According to reports, although the choice to split ways was amicable with the corporation, Meghan and Harry failed to fulfill the projected performance criteria.
Even though their relationship with Netflix is claimed to be in jeopardy, Meghan and Harry have published two projects so far.
