Andy Cohen defended Meghan Markle after it was reported that she did not conduct her own interviews on her recently canceled podcast, “Archetypes.”

The “Watch What Happens Live” anchor, 55, who participated in the Duchess of Sussex’s Spotify initiative in 2022, described the rumor as “insane.”

Of course, I spoke with Markle, And she definitely interviewed me. That’s an insane rumor,” the Bravo executive told Us Weekly Wednesday.

“Her podcast is conversations with people. How would she not have, of course she did.”

While he did not name the publication, PodNews claimed this week that some of the exiled royal’s sit-down interviews were conducted by her staffers.

The unsubstantiated rumor went on to say that Markle’s voice was later fused into the show.

Cohen dismissed the notion, saying the 41-year-old “Suits” actress was “quite well-researched,” “well-informed,” and “thoughtful” during their 2022 talk.

During their conversation, the pair addressed Bravo’s successful “Housewives” franchise, particularly after Markle revealed she was interested in starring on the show during her appearance on “WWHL” over a decade ago.

“Everyone is like: ‘Oh, she should join the Beverly Hills housewives,’” Cohen said on “Archetypes.”

“And I’m like: ‘She ain’t joining the Beverly Hills housewives, everybody. That’s not happening. She’s Meghan Markle.’”

Bravo passed on having Markle appear on the show in the early 2010s, a choice that left Cohen regretting himself, calling it “the biggest blunder in the 13 years of the show.”

The mother of two responded that she had “never heard” of the rumor.

Despite previously producing 6-part Netflix documentary, the Duchess underlined that there “will be no reality show” about her life.

Spotify said last week that it had cut ties with Markle’s podcast.

Spotify and the royals’ Archewell Audio said in a joint statement to The Post that they have “mutually agreed to part ways and are proud of the series we made together.”

There were only 12 episodes of “Archetypes,” that featured celebrities such as Serena Williams, Mariah Carey, and Paris Hilton.

Cohen, Trevor Noah, and Judd Apatow all made appearances in the last “Archetypes” episode, “Manifesting A Cultural Shift,” which aired on November 29.

Spotify stated this month that it will lay off 200 employees as it rethinks its podcasting strategy.
