Beyonce celebrates 42nd birthday today amid her ongoing world tour. The star has evolved tremendously ever since she broke into Hollywood with her now-extinct band Destiny’s Child.
The band featured Beyonce, Kelly Rowland, Michelle Williams, and Letoya Latavia who came into the limelight in the early 2000s. Winning several awards unt After Letoya’s exit from the group. This in no way deterred the group as they went on to win two Grammy Awards for their hits “Survivor” and “Say My Name.”

In 2006, Destiny’s Child disbanded with Beyonce Knowles going solo. She even acted briefly starring in movies like ‘Dreamgirls,’ ‘Cadillac Records,’ and ‘Austin Powers in Goldmember.’
Eventually, she abandoned acting to focus on her musical career. Since then, she has continued to soar’ claiming top spots on the Billboard 100 and earning the singer critical acclaim and more Grammy Awards.
