Tupac Shakur, the late rap hero, has been officially honored with his own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. And the event drew out his family, friends, and ardent followers.

Tupac’s sister Sekyiwa Shakur choked back tears as she addressed the enormous gathering on Wednesday, remarking on her brother’s accomplishments and summarizing his legacy as one of passion and endurance.

Fans and friends, including YG, Mike Epps, Treach from Naughty By Nature, and ceremony MC Big Boy, completely shut down a section of Hollywood Blvd to pay their respects to Tupac, who is still regarded as one of the best rappers of all time.

Tupac was elected into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2017 and has two Diamond albums to go along with his 75 million record sales, and the Hollywood star simply dots the “i” in Thug Life!!!

Tupac’s star made its way to the East Coast. Beatboxing artist Doug E. Fresh said the “Dear Mama” rapper was a star on Earth and deserved the honor tenfold!!!

Shakur launched his professional career in 1991 with the breakthrough track “Same Song.” Later that year, he made his feature debut in Sons of the P, the first of his eight films.

In addition, he released his first solo album, 2Pacalypse Now.

With a few pals and his stepbrother Mopreme Shakur, Tupac established the group Thug Life in 1993.

Tupac Shakur became well-known for his violent lifestyle and run-ins with the law. In October 1993, Shakur shot two off-duty police officers who he said were harassing a black motorist in Atlanta, Georgia.

When it was shown that the cops were inebriated, the case was dropped. He was convicted of abusing a former female employer on a music video set the following year.

Shakur was shot five times at a Manhattan recording studio the day before the guilty judgment was announced on December 1, 1994.

He was sentenced to 15 days in jail, with additional days on a highway construction crew as community service, and a $2,000 fine after entering the courthouse in a wheelchair.

He was imprisoned for 120 days in April 1996 for breaking the terms of his probation. Shakur was shot in a drive-by on September 7, 1996, shortly after witnessing the Mike Tyson-Bruce Seldon boxing event in Las Vegas, Nevada.

He died six days later from his injuries, at the age of 25.
