Shannen Doherty is all smiles as she stepped out two weeks after revealing that her stage four breast cancer had spread to her brain.
On Thursday, the “BH90210” alum was seen leaving a restaurant in Malibu, California, in good spirits.

The actress wore a dark blue sweater with jeans and white sneakers and carried a black jacket and a matching purse.
Doherty shared a heartbreaking cancer update with her Instagram fans earlier this month.
“My fear is obvious,” the “Charmed” alum captioned a video of herself undergoing radiation treatment.
The next week, she shared a video of “what cancer can look like” before undergoing surgery to remove a tumor in her head.
“I am clearly trying to be brave, but I am petrified,” Doherty captioned the video, which was shot in January.
“The fear was overwhelming to me,” she continued. “Scared of all possible bad outcomes, worried about leaving my mom and how that would impact her. Worried that I would come out of surgery not me anymore.”
In 2015, the “Beverly Hills, 90210″ star was diagnosed with breast cancer for the first time.
Despite being in remission by 2017, Doherty reported that the disease had resurfaced three years later.
The “Heathers” star told fans in a “Good Morning America” interview in October 2021 that she was “fighting to stay alive.”
Doherty was married to photographer Kurt Iswarienko then, but she divorced him last April.
“Divorce is the last thing Shannen wanted,” her rep said at the time. “Unfortunately, she felt she was left with no other option.”
Doherty previously married actor Ashley Hamilton in 1993 and poker player Rick Salomon in 2002.

Doherty told Health magazine in 2019 that she was “fearful” of motherhood because of her health problems. But she had considered having children with Iswarienko before their split.
“I don’t know whether I’m going to last five years, ten years,” she explained. “I certainly wouldn’t want my 10-year-old burying a mother. I’ve always wanted a kid. But maybe I’m supposed to mother in a different way.”
