Justin Bieber’s dad has brought attention to his doorsteps by posting homophobic messages during pride month.
Jeremy Bieber took to Twitter on Wednesday to share a homophobic meme with the mocking comment, “Don’t forget to thank a straight person this month for your existence.”

The now-deleted comment came only two days after the 48-year-old, who has four children with three different women, tweeted that people “need to celebrate families.”
“You know why we’re all here!” he said. The things this generation glorifies are unbelievable.”
While Justin, 29, has yet to respond to his father’s anti-LGBTQIA+ statements, social media users have lambasted him.

“No one’s thanking flop nepo daddies bye,” one user tweeted, adding, “You should sit back down real quick.”
Many criticized Jeremy for not being as present as Justin’s mother, Pattie Mallette, throughout Justin’s formative years.
“Don’t forget to thank your son because he’s the reason your electricity hasn’t been shut off yet!” said one Twitter user.

Similarly, another person stated that they were not “expecting anything else from a grown man who leeches off his son.”
Despite Jeremy and Justin’s rocky relationship, the “Baby” singer has continued to support his father’s growing family with Erin Wagner and Chelsey Rebelo.
While the “Peaches” singer has not publicly stated his support for the LGBTQ community, he did answer a question about homosexuality in a 2011 Rolling Stone interview.
“It’s everyone’s own decision to do that,” he declared at the time, despite the fact that sexual orientation is not a choice. “It doesn’t affect me, and it shouldn’t affect anyone else.”
