“Our biggest dream came true,” they posted a series of black-and-white photographs on Instagram, including an ultrasound.
The photos show the former “Bachelor” star, 42, standing behind his 24-year-old fiancée in the middle of a grassy field.
Meanwhile, Viall put one hand on the influencer’s hip and the other on her shoulder.
For the lovely photos, the podcast host donned a plain black suit and a white button-down.
Dozens of friends and fellow Bachelor Nation stars congratulated the soon-to-be parents in the comments section.
“Omg!! “Congratulations,” said “Bachelor” alum Hannah Ann Sluss, while “DWTS” pro-Petra Murgatroyd added, “OMGGGGGGGGG!!!!! This is incredible news!
“so happy for you guys.” “I love you guys, all three of you,” “Bachelor in Paradise” winner Victoria Fuller wrote. “Feel like I’ve been hiding this for centuries.”
Viall later uploaded the photos to his Instagram Story, describing parenthood as the “greatest dream come true of [his] life.”
“Being a dad is going to be so cool,” he commented on top of an ultrasound shot.
The former reality TV star quipped in the following tale that their baby “will be so beautiful…and obviously humble.”
The couple first became romantically linked in 2020, although they first refuted the romance allegations due to their 18-year age difference.
In reality, Viall confessed on “The Squeeze” podcast in May that before consenting to date Joy, he checked her ID to make sure she was of legal age.
“We started messaging, and I carded her,” he explained, adding, “He was like, ‘I want to see your ID.'”
Viall went on to say that he had “so many times” rejected Joy when she “slid into” his Instagram “DMs” because he was “self-conscious” about dating a younger lady.
Despite his reservations, the two hit it off right once, and Joy knew Viall was “the one.”
“I was like, ‘I am going to spend the rest of my life with this man,’ and I knew it but he didn’t, so I was like, ‘I’m gonna hang on because he’ll come around,'” she said.
After over a year of keeping their romance under wraps, the couple eventually went Instagram-official in January 2021.
Almost exactly two years later, the “Viall Files” presenter proposed with a magnificent cushion-cut diamond ring.
“For the rest of my life, it’s you,” the couple captioned a series of PDA-filled photos from the proposal on Instagram.
A few days later, Viall provided a behind-the-scenes look at their romantic occasion, including the video that played as Joy entered the candle-lit room.
“I can’t wait to start a family with you,” Viall said through tears in the video. “It’s unreal to me that you get to be the mother of my children. I love you.”
