Nicki Minaj was reportedly the target of a “swatting” attack this week after an anonymous caller falsely reported her 2-year-old son was being molested to police.
A law enforcement source told TMZ on Sunday that the prankster phoned child services, which resulted in Los Angeles Police Department sheriff’s deputies showing up at Minaj’s California property.

The “Super Base” singer, who has a baby child with husband Kenneth Petty, spoke with police at her house.
They found no symptoms of maltreatment after inspecting the toddler, whose name has yet to be made public.

A few hours later, though, another caller dialed 911 to report a fire at Minaj’s home.
It was immediately clear that the rapper had been “swatted,” and the bogus phone calls were false.
According to the outlet, the “Starships” rapper, 40, is now taking legal action against individuals implicated.
“Swatting” is the act of falsely reporting a crime or calling the cops with the goal that a huge police response, or even a S.W.A.T. squad, will arrive at a specified place.
The prank is known for wasting time and resources that could otherwise be utilized to investigate serious crimes.
