After more than a year, Khloé Kardashian and Tristan Thompson’s son has been officially named Tatum Thompson.
According to paperwork acquired by TSZ Newz, a Los Angeles judge allowed the name change from Kardashian to Tatum Thompson on Thursday.
After struggling to come up with a name for her son, the Good American co-founder, 39, wrote “Kardashian” on the birth certificate.
An insider told TSZ Newz last month that the child was identified as “Baby” until the reality star came up with Tatum.
Tatum’s birth came at a difficult moment for the on-again, off-again couple, as the Los Angeles Lakers player became pregnant with another woman only weeks after learning they were carrying their son via surrogacy.
It was revealed that the couple was expecting a son just weeks before Tatum’s due date in July 2022.
After many cheating scandals over the years, the “Kardashians” star has repeatedly stated that she will not get back together with him.
She denied speculations of a romantic reconciliation with Thompson in May.
“Most [people] are stuck at believing the lies because it’s the narrative they want to fuel. Have fun…. Some things are just as simple as they seem,” she wrote.
As of now, the pair, who began dating in 2016, are only co-parents to Tatum and True, their 5-year-old daughter.
Kardashian revealed her kid was starting Kindergarten earlier this week in a series of Instagram photos.
“🤍💜Kindergarten🤍💜,” she captioned the set of photos on Tuesday. “For anyone wondering, no, I’m not ok! Next, it will be prom😫😩.”
While it’s unclear whether Thompson accompanied her for the carpool drop-off, he’s known to show up for major events, like as True’s pre-kindergarten graduation in June and Tatum’s lavish first birthday earlier this month.

Celebrating her son’s birthday on social media, Kardashian said that he forever transformed her, adding that God provided her with all she required.
“God knew my heart needed you. I needed your sweet and precious Smile. I needed your angelic spirit. I needed a love only you could give me. I needed my son,” she captioned the post.
