According to a new claim, Khloe Kardashian and Tristan Thompson’s son was not originally given his father’s surname.
Tatum Thompson, as he is now known, was once named Kardashian.
Sources claim that Tatum, 10 months, was not his first name, the infant was labeled as “Baby” until the reality star came up with Tatum.
We’re told that “Baby” was listed because the state of California doesn’t have Jane or John Doe.
The co-founder of Good American changed her mind and got Tatum’s last name officially changed to Thompson — and settled on Tatum as his first name.
Although no particular explanations were offered for the name change, it was most likely because the former couple was expecting their baby boy through surrogacy when word came that the NBA player had surreptitiously impregnated Maralee Nichols.
“Khloé has always wanted a little brother for daughter True and decided to go ahead with having the baby with the support of her family,” a source claims.
Khloé and Tristan had not been speaking with one other outside of co-parenting their now-5-year-old daughter when the surrogacy news became public.
However, the chemistry between the exes has shifted so dramatically that many assumed she and the serial cheater were back together, prompting her to strike out at her followers.
“Most people are stuck believing lies because they want to fuel the narrative.” Have fun… “Some things are just as simple as they seem,” she remarked on social media in May.
“A family member supporting another family member, especially during a difficult time in life.”
When the former couple reconnected last week for True’s pre-K graduation, they put on a unified front.
The “Kardashians” star and the athlete were pictured smiling together as they arrived at their daughter’s school in Los Angeles on Wednesday.
According to witnesses, the pair was spotted having a nice talk and appeared to be on excellent terms.
