Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck appeared to get into an argument while driving around Los Angeles on Friday.
In photographs obtained by TSZ Newz, Affleck waved animatedly while driving his vehicle while a somber Lopez listened.
The “Jenny From the Block” singer glared ahead as the “Justice League” star spoke to her.
Another photo shows Lopez, 54, staring at Affleck as he continues to speak.
Despite the appearance of the moment in images, a source close to the couple tells TSZ Newz on Saturday that “nothing heated about their discussion.”
Lopez and Affleck’s representatives did not respond to TSZ’s request for comment.
While it’s unknown what the two were talking about, Affleck has lately made headlines for sharing an intimate moment in his car with ex-wife Jennifer Garner and one of his daughters.
As previously reported by TSZ Newz the “Alias” alum, 51, was caught earlier this month leaning in from the back seat of his automobile to hug the “Good Will Hunting” actress, also 51.
Seraphina, their daughter, sat in the passenger seat next to her father.
The former couple also share a daughter Violet and a son Samuel.
Since their divorce in 2015, the ex-couples have maintained a cordial co-parenting relationship.
Affleck moved on and married Lopez in July 2022, while Garner is dating businessman John Miller.
In terms of how the three handle co-parenting while being close, a source tells us on Thursday that Affleck is much more “healthy” now that he’s with Lopez.
“The drama of the past and the emotions of divorce are long gone and they are all making it work,” the insider shared.
According to the insider, Garner and Lopez, who have twins Max and Emme with ex Marc Anthony, are “friendly” with each other, and their children “love each other.”

“It is really a very happy co-parenting situation,” the source added.
“Everything is really good right now and should be the same in the near and distant future.”
