“I got dead balls out here! Dead balls!”, the 55-year-old joked in the clip. Casey re-posted the video in a joint post with The Kitchen Pickleball.

“Jamie is too modest. That wasn’t a dead ball, that was his nasty cut,” they wrote in the caption. Jamie is a known fan of the sport, as his daughter, 29-year-old daughter, Corinne Foxx, said in her May 12 Instagram Story.

Many of Jamie’s fans took to the comments section shortly after Casey, a pro beach volleyball player, shared the video, seeing him back in the game months after his recent health crisis.

“Jamie ‘Sneaky Spin’ Foxx!!,” one fan joked, adding, “Jamie got game.” Meanwhile, another fan couldn’t resist but express their desire to play against Jamie. “I want to play Jamie… lol,” they said, while a fourth fan joked, “Can he teach us that spin?”

As previously stated, Jamie’s most recent pickleball match came just four months after the father-of-two was hospitalized in April for an unknown disease.

His eldest daughter revealed on Instagram at the time that her father was seeking medical treatment. “From the Foxx family: We wanted to share that, my father, Jamie Foxx, experienced a medical complication yesterday. Luckily, due to quick action and great care, he is already on his way to recovery,” she said on Instagram on April 12.

“We know how beloved he is and appreciate your prayers. The family asks for privacy during this time. Much love, the Foxx family.”

Jamie was apparently having physical rehabilitation in Chicago in the months that followed, where his family was photographed visiting him in May.

Around the same day, on May 3, the Django Unchained star broke his silence on the health issue via Instagram. “Appreciate all the love!!! Feeling blessed,” he wrote over a black screen with a heart, praying hands, and a fox emoji.

Many celebrities, like Jennifer Lopez and comedian Kevin Hart, expressed their best wishes during his rehabilitation.

Most recently, on July 21, Jamie took to Instagram to post a selfie video thanking everyone for their support over the last few months.
