Sharon Osbourne has revealed the key to her four-decade marriage to Ozzy Osbourne, acknowledging that it hasn’t always been easy.

The outspoken former “The Talk” co-host, 70, stated that while the couple’s relationship has had its ups and downs, they have conquered them by “accepting” one other.

“We’re both oddballs,” Sharon said of her connection with the Black Sabbath rocker, 74. “I might look quite normal, you know, the way I dress, but normal is not a word I use often.”

After first meeting in 1971, the couple married in 1982.

And, when the couple celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary in July, Sharon reflected on some difficult times in their marriage.

Specifically, they briefly split up in 2016 after Sharon discovered Ozzy had been unfaithful.

“It’s not been easy, no relationship is easy,” the mom of two said. “You have to work at it. You get your ugly times, your bad times, and your horrific times. But if you love each other enough, you’ll work through.”

Sharon also discussed the couple’s other difficulties.

Ozzy was fired from his band in 1979 due to substance usage concerns, and it was Sharon who assisted him in getting back on his feet and launching a solo endeavor.

“We’re cut from the same mold,” she said.

Sharon emphasized the need “to realize you have to accept people for what they are.”

“They’ll never be what you want them to be,” she went on. “You have to accept them. There are good and there are bad parts. If you love them enough, you’ll accept it and realize that you can’t change it.”

It comes after Sharon recently stated that she wants Ozzy to return to London after spending decades in the United States.

Sharon highlighted their plans to return to the UK in the near future on their family podcast “The Osbournes,” since Ozzy, who has been facing many health issues in recent years, needs to live in London again.

“This is what I’ve learned: You can’t plan anything,” Sharon told Ozzy, and their children Kelly, 38, and Jack, 37. “I just feel that I wanna go home. I wanna give your father a chance to live his life.”

“We can do more what we want more in England than we can do here,” she added.
