Beyoncé celebrated her birthday with an incredible performance at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, Calif., during her final Los Angeles-area performance of her tour.
“My soul is full. I’m so thankful, I’m trying not to cry. I’m thankful to be alive,” she told the crowd. “I’m thankful to be on stage. I’m thankful to look out and see your faces.”
“I’m thankful to be able to provide a safe space for all of y’all. I’m thankful for music, for the ability to heal myself through music which then heals all of you,” she continued.
“I’m thankful that we all have the ability to make lemonade out of our lemons. I thank you that I’m here at f–king 42. I’m grateful for joy, and I thank God.”
Diana Ross was also in attendance and was called onstage to sing “Happy Birthday” to Queen Bey following a rendition of her 1976 song “Love Hangover.”
Tina took to social media on her daughter’s special day to post a rare photo of Beyoncé spending quality time with her three children.
“Screaming Happy Birthday to my daughter, my best friend, my confidant,” the Knowles matriarch, who is also mom to daughter Solange, captioned a throwback snap of Beyoncé blowing out candles from a previous year.
“I thank God, for choosing me to be the vessel in which you traveled to get to this world,” she added.
