Bebe Rexha revealed she suffered a black eye after a rude concertgoer smacked her in the eye with a cell phone during her New York City performance on Sunday night.
On Monday, the “In The Name of Love” singer shared an Instagram selfie in which she was seen giving a thumbs up while sporting a big welt on her left eye and bandages concealing many sutures over her brow.

“I’m good,” Rexha, 33, captioned the photo, referring to her and David Guetta’s smash song “I’m Good (Blue).”
Rexha shared another photo without her bandages and fans could see a pink gash across her eyelid that was still covered with sparkly makeup from her Big Apple event.
Fans rushed the post’s comments section to wish her a speedy recovery and to condemn the attacker who caused the pop star’s terrible contusion.
“I’m so sorry that happened to you. I hope the person that assaulted you was arrested and banned from your future shows,” one person wrote.
“Hate hate hate seeing this sending u big love today especially,” a second fan wrote.
“We love you. People don’t know how to f–king act,” a third stated.
“You deserve so, so, so much better. get well soon,” another wrote.
“Shame on that person who threw the cell on your face. I hope they find him or her. Speed recovery,” another added.
Fortunately, the suspected perpetrator, Nicolas Malvagna, was arrested and charged with assault following the incident at The Rooftop at Pier 17, according to ABC7NY.
The 27-year-old Manalapan, New Jersey resident is said to be in police custody and will be arraigned Monday.
Concertgoers’ video footage of the tumultuous event shows Rexha on her knees in anguish after being struck in the face by a phone thrown at her from the audience.
As the event drew to a finish, crew personnel were spotted racing to her side to aid her.
The Grammy nominee, whose real name is Bleta Rexha, was reportedly treated on the spot before being brought to the hospital and stitched up.

Meanwhile, another onlooker’s video appears to show the man who allegedly tossed the phone being led out of the event by security.
Rexha was on the 13th stop of her Best F’n Night of My Life tour, which was in support of her third album, “Bebe,” when the incident occurred.
Her next engagement is slated for Tuesday at The Fillmore in Philadelphia.
