According to multiple sources, former California governor, Arnold Schwarzenegger, 74, was involved in a multi-car accident in the Los Angeles neighborhood of Brentwood on Friday night.
According to TMZ, Arnold was driving a GMC Yukon when it collided with a red Prius, rolling over the smaller vehicle before colliding with a Porsche Cayenne. The accident happened at the intersection of Sunset Boulevard and Allenford Avenue, which is about a mile from Arnold’s house, according to the outlet.
According to reports, the driver of the Prius suffered a head injury and was taken to the hospital in an ambulance, while Schwarzenegger, judging by pictures, was only slightly injured and was able to communicate with police and others on the scene.
According to TMZ, Arnold’s close friend and fitness personality Jake “Body by Jake” Steinfeld was also present at the scene of the accident.
While TMZ reports that the crash occurred at 5:00 p.m. PT, ABC Los Angeles affiliate ABC7 reports that it occurred at 4:15. All the reports noted that four vehicles were involved in the accident, and it is unknown whether Schwarzenegger was driving the Yukon.
According to a source close to the “Predator” star, he is “deeply concerned” about the injured woman and plans to personally check on her.
According to ABC7, no arrests were made, and police do not believe the incident involved any form of DUI or DWI.
Arnold Schwarzenegger’s divorce from Maria Shriver, 66, was finalized at the end of December. The couple had been married since 1986 and divorced in 2011 after it was revealed that Schwarzenegger had a son, Joseph, with their housekeeper Mildred Baena.
Since 2013, the “Expendables” star has been dating physical therapist Heather Milligan, who is 27 years his junior. Friends told the Post that Shriver, a frequent “Today” show contributor, is single after splitting from political consultant Matthew Dowd in 2017.
