Netflix has released the official trailer for the fourth and final season of Never Have I Ever, set to premiere on June 8. The show reveals Devi’s (Maitreyi Ramakrishnan) “banging” senior year.
Netflix’s high school comedy series “Never Have I Ever” will premiere its fourth and final season on June 8. A trailer for the series was released showing what Devi Vishwakumar’s senior year will look like. Devi is played by Maitreyi Ramakrishnan.
The show is about Devi, an Indian high school girl navigating the complicated American life. The earlier seasons show Devi struggling with the loss of her Dad. The incident had caused her to stop walking hence the use of a wheelchair.
She finally started walking after seeing her Crush Paxton Hall-Yoshida (Darren Barnet). Devi is an overachiever with anger issues and enjoys healthy competition with Ben Gross.
This anger issue gets her into difficult situations, many of which involve her family, friends and family, and crushes who may or may not be Paxton Hall-Yoshida and/or Ben Gross.
In this new season, Devi will have a new distraction named Ethan (Michael Cimino), who arrived at Sherman Oaks High after Paxton’s departure to college. The end of season 3 had shown Devi losing her V-card to Ben Gross, her next option after Paxton.
The new season trailer also hints a wedding will take place, although the bride and groom are still a mystery.
The apparent candidates for the alter will be Devi’s cousin Kamala (Richa Moorjani) and her new boyfriend, Devi’s teacher Manish Kulkarni played by Utkarsh Ambudkar). Another guess will be Devi’s mother, Dr. Vishwakumar who may find new love. However, it can be anyone.
The popular riveting Netflix Series is created by Mindy Kaling and Lang Fisher (Executive producers). The series is produced by Universal Television, a division of Universal Studio Group, and executive produced by 3 Arts Entertainment’s Howard Klein and David Miner.
