Exes can be friends, as Prince William and Rose Farquhar demonstrate. On Saturday, the Prince of Wales appeared to be flying solo as he attended the wedding of his first serious girlfriend in Gloucestershire.
William, 40, looked dapper in a black tuxedo with a bowtie as he attended the ceremony.
He was one of many guests who witnessed his 39-year-old ex-girlfriend, whom he dated in 2000, say “I do” to George Gemmell at St Mary the Virgin church.
After finishing his A-levels at Eton College, William and Farquhar first met at the Beaufort Polo Club. According to the Daily Mail, they were once caught canoodling in a field.

Farquhar moved to New York after their brief romance to study acting at the Lee Strasberg Institute, and she later appeared on “The Voice UK” in 2016.
It appears that William’s now-wife, Kate Middleton, did not attend the wedding.
William’s appearance comes just days after the second installment of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s explosive docuseries, in which the Duke of Sussex accused his brother of “screaming” at him during a meeting.

“It was terrifying to have my brother scream and shout at me, and my father [King Charles III] say things that just simply weren’t true, and my grandmother [Queen Elizabeth II] quietly sit there and just take it all in,” Harry alleged.
“Harry & Meghan,” a six-part docuseries, also accused Buckingham Palace aides of using Markle as a “scapegoat” to divert attention away from negative stories about other members of the royal family.

Buckingham Palace has made no comment on the claims made in the show. According to a source, William and Middleton have not seen the docuseries.
“William and Kate’s aides have briefed them on the show, but don’t expect the couple to sit down in their cottage with a bowl of popcorn to tune in themselves,” one insider said.

Following the explosive headlines, senior members of the royal family have put on a united front, with many of them attending Middleton’s “Together At Christmas” concert at Westminster Abbey.

The Royal Foundation sponsored the second annual event, which paid tribute to the late Queen Elizabeth II, who died on September 8 at the age of 96.
Kate Middleton was accompanied by her husband and their two children, Prince George, 9, and Princess Charlotte, 7. Prince Louis, who is four years old, did not attend the event.
