Sam Asghari is setting the record straight on how he really feels about his wife, Britney Spears, posting nude photos of herself on social media.

“The only person in the world that gets bullied for posting things like this,” the “Lioness” actor, 28, commented on Instagram Friday before admitting.

“I personally preferred she never posted these but who am I to control someone that’s been under a microscope and been controlled for most of her life.”

Asghari stated his position after Spears, 41, posted a series of topless photos of herself on Instagram with only emojis or her hair covering her naked breasts.

“Stop! Please stop! Freedom is not when you take off your clothes. Dress up and speak for yourself with a calm mind,” one critic wrote.

Another added in the comments section, “Something is not ok! Who is handling this account? And isnt there another court date soon? Someone is messing with her. Not normal. Why does Sam say ‘the media can be very traumatizing’ yet you’re ok with this?”

Asghari’s candid remark is the first time he has expressed dissatisfaction with Spears’ half-naked photos.

“Even if there was truth to her kids being ashamed of their mothers [sic] choices and positive body image they wouldn’t be the 1st teenagers emberrassed [sic] of their parents. The mere presence of a parent can humiliate a teenager,” Asghari wrote in an Instagram Story in August.

He added at the time, “Eventually if not already they will realize their mothers [sic] choices are harmless and an expression of a newly found freedom. There is nothing to be embarrassed [sic] about just lots of things to be proud of ❤️🙏 .”
