All About Jennifer Lopez’s Green Engagement Ring From Ben Affleck

Jennifer Lopez accepted actor Ben Affleck’s second proposal, turning to her “On The JLo” newsletter Friday night to tell the news and show off her latest engagement ring, a green stone set in a silver band.

“If that is indeed a green diamond, then I am stunned. A green diamond of that size is incredibly rare and would dwarf the value of their previous engagement ring. I would value the ring well over $5 million and could be worth more than $10 million,” Diamond Pro CEO Mike Fried said.

Green is also a significant hue for the “Let’s Get Loud” vocalist.

“I always say the color green is my lucky color. Maybe you can remember a certain green dress. I’ve realized there are many moments in my life where amazing things happened when I was wearing green,” Jennifer, 52, shared in one of her previous newsletters.

Jennifer Lopez’s passion for green extends to her favorite works of art, which she discusses, including one with a green bird perched on someone’s hand and the phrase “Let Go.”

“I don’t buy a lot of art, but I bought this. One because I love hummingbirds, and two because I love the color green. Birds always fly around me. I’ve always had a special connection with hummingbirds. I realized that a lot of people say they symbolize love.

So whenever it feels like wherever I go, they follow me. Whenever I am in a moment of doubt and confusion, one will magically appear by my window, reminding me that the universe will always speak to us if we are open to the signs,” she shared.

Jennifer ignited engagement rumors this week after being photographed wearing a big diamond ring on her left hand in new paparazzi images, however, the shots were far and blurry.

During their initial engagement, Affleck proposed with a 6.1 carat pink diamond ring from Harry Winston, which J. Lo described as “the most magnificent thing I’ve ever seen.”
