Pete Davidson skipped “Saturday Night Live” to go on a date with Kim Kardashian, despite the fact that the NBC show is dealing with an unprecedented COVID-19 outbreak.
The comedian, 28, and reality star, 41, were seen going to the movies together on Staten Island on Saturday evening. They got to the theatre around 7 p.m., but it’s unclear what movie they saw.

According to a source, Scott Disick, Disick’s friend Chris Reda, and another male were also present with Davidson and Kardashian. Pete Davidson was seen entering a Manhattan hotel where Kardashian is staying earlier in the afternoon.

He arrived with Disick around 6 p.m., sparking speculation that he would not be attending “SNL” rehearsals, which usually begin around 8 p.m. Kim Kardashian’s SUV was then seen leaving the hotel around 6:20 p.m. on its way to Staten Island.

The Post learned Saturday afternoon that “SNL” was on the verge of cancelling tonight’s final episode of the iconic sketch show’s 2021 season which was set to be hosted by Paul Rudd with musical guest Charli XCX due to an in-house outbreak of positive COVID-19 cases after a set insider told us “four actors” tested positive and “three others” called out because they were “fearful” about coming to NBC Studios at 30 Rockef.



The “show must go on,” according to a source, “but don’t expect to see Colin Jost, Sarah Sherman, or (Aristotle) Athari.”

According to The New York Post, legendary “SNL” alum Tina Fey is in talks to “fill in” at her old “Weekend Update” spot for Jost.
Furthermore, Charli XCX has officially withdrawn from her performance, stating that she is “devastated and heartbroken” by the turn of events.
